A blockout for a simple 1v1 Shooter Map. The arena is symetrically designed to ensure fair conditions.

Through testing I iterated through different designs for the map. That way the map evolved from a fairly open arena into a more diverse experience with the possibility for close-quarter encounters, while still retaining the possibility for long distance combat.

Raised areas around the map offer the players better viewing angles at the expense of a more exposed position. Those elevations also offer more exiting gameplay by adding verticality and more possible strategies.
